Set aside time to make a meal plan full of easy to make brain food and search for the best deals at the best groceries stores. But all the ramen & chips will do a number to your body and mind. It's soooooo easy to buy microwavable junk food in college because it's fast & easy to make and cheap to buy. We all know college = budgeting but, that doesn't mean you should sacrifice a good healthy meal for 50c ramen. Make sure that designated area is not your bed though! Your brain already associates your bed with sleeping so it won't be helpful to do your studies anywhere TOO comfy. It's important that you have a special area to do work so that your brain will always associate this area with school & you can focus on your homework/studies. It can be difficult juggling school, homework, a job, extra curriculars, and time for yourself, friends, and family but having it written down and organized will turn you into the ultimate scheduling queen.ĭesignate an area in your house, apartment, or dorm where you will ONLY do school work. Take some serious time to organize all you have to do and prioritize what gets the most time out of your day. You will have to schedule your time properly & on your own. On top of all that, college is not high school. As you get older it gets harder to time manage when you have so many responsibilities.
